"Three weekends down the drain trying to..."
I've dedicated three weekends to getting a row of cupboards in the eaves of my 16th-century farmhouse in South Wales just right, using a lovely monogram grey that I really like. But after five coats and two undercoats, every time I glance at those cupboards, there's a chip staring back at me. It's just me and my husband in the house, and he has his own bathroom, so I’m left feeling frustrated with this shoddy quality.
